To display auto scrolling headlines that capture attention of your visitors, you can use our Marquee Text widget. The widget has plenty of customization options that help you create any type of marquee or ticker widget instances.
The widget lets you enter a collection of Marquee text elements that are displayed one after another along an horizontally line with the text scrolling indefinitely forming a loop.
The ‘Add Item’ button lets you add multiple marquee text items.
You can optionally link each of the marquee text elements to websites of your choice.
You can also customize the color and typography of each of the marquee text elements individually.
The Settings window of the Marquee Text widget lets you choose the separator icon or image, set duration of the marquee, direction of the scroll and the spacing between the items.
The Settings tab has the following options –
- Separator Icon – Choose a separator icon from a large collection of icons from the Icons library. You can also set a custom image as a separator for the text elements.
- Marquee Duration – This is the total time in seconds that the widget takes to complete a single loop of scrolling text.
- Reverse Direction – By default, the direction of the scroll is left to right with the elements on the right being revealed one after another. You can reverse the same using this setting.
- Spacing between Marquee Text Times – You can set custom spacing between the marquee elements.
The Style tab of the Marquee Text widget allows you to customize the color and the typography (font type, size, weight, style, line height etc.) for the Marquee Text elements. It also lets you customize the size, color and alignment of the separator icon.
